Vega is named after the brightest star in the constellation of Lyra and the yacht Vega has a long, shining and celebrated history of yacht racing. Her current owner undertook her complete restoration from 2000 to 2004 and enjoys racing her with his young family.
Successfully competing since 1925, all around Italy, Vega's most recent triumphs have been at the Prada Trophy in Cannes, the Panerai Trophy Argentario and the Aletti Trophy in Naples.
